Sponsorship Opportunities

In addition to running successful Division I and Division III programs, the Club
remains committed to our mission in other ways. The CRFC is the sole sponsor of
the Midwest collegiate players’ Overseas Rugby Experience Program which sends
college players overseas to play rugby with high level European and Australian
clubs. The CRFC is also the main supporter of the Midwest Rugby Development
foundation. This non-profit foundation provides a wide range services to the rugby
community, including the sponsorship of coaching clinics and youth camps.
Last, but not least, the CRFC is able to maintain Brimelow Fields and manage
events in order to cultivate local interest. Significant events held at Brimelow

 City High School Championship Tournament
 Midwest High School Championship Tournament
 Cincinnati Women’s Team (non CRFC affiliated) preparation for DII National
 Ohio Rugby Union Forwards Camp
 Ohio Rugby Union Select Side training sessions
 Midwest Rugby Union Select Side training sessions
 Midwest 7’s qualifying rounds for Nationals
 Midwest Men’s Division I Playoffs
 Men’s Division II National Championship Sweet 16 Tournament
 Men’s Division I National Championship Final Four Tournament

Major fundraising activities are undertaken to help care for the facilities that have
fueled the growth of the sport in our area. While they offset the majority of our
annual budget, it is only thru sponsorships that the Club is able to fully fund all of
its programs. We have a great group of loyal sponsors and the list keeps growing
each year. Our commitment to them is to make sure they receive the recognition
they deserve from our players, fans, and the rugby community at large, whether
they are one of the 150-250 people attending a weekly match, viewing games on
local access cable, or reading a feature on the Club in the newspaper or online.
The CRFC puts on a summer tournament, bringing in additional players and
supporters from Midwest and Southern cities. The Club is also able to make
mention of sponsors in press releases following all league and championship

The Cincinnati Rugby Football Club, known more also as the Wolfhounds, is the
premier men’s Rugby club in Cincinnati. The team is comprised of non-professional
players and sanctioned by USA Rugby to compete in men’s Division 1. Founded in
1974, the team has since competed in 19 Midwest Championships and five national
championship sweet 16 tournaments, including a 5th in the nation finish in 2005 and
a 4th place finish in 2007.

In addition to hosting Midwest and National events, the CRFC hosts the annual Cin
City 7’s tournament in Cincinnati. This event hosts the top Men’s and Women’s 7s
